Community Guidelines
Introduction
These Community Guidelines establish the standards of conduct expected from all users of the Coiena platform. By using Coiena, you agree to comply with these guidelines and our Terms of Service.
These guidelines are enforced uniformly across all users. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent account termination. Coiena Ltd. reserves the right to take any action necessary to maintain platform safety and integrity.
1. Acceptable Use
Users must use the platform in a lawful manner. All content must comply with UK law and applicable international regulations. Prohibited activities include:
- • Sharing illegal content or promoting illegal activities
- • Copyright infringement or unauthorised use of intellectual property
- • Fraud, scams, or financial crimes
- • Harassment, bullying, or targeted attacks
- • Hate speech targeting protected characteristics
- • Sharing personal information without consent (doxing)
- • Impersonating others or misrepresenting identity
- • Spam, automated posting, or manipulation of platform metrics
2. Content Standards
All content must be appropriately rated for its intended audience. Adult content must be clearly marked and restricted to users aged 18 and over. Content depicting violence, sexual material, or other mature themes must be properly categorised.
Content that is illegal under UK law, including material that incites violence, promotes terrorism, or violates obscenity laws, is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and potential referral to law enforcement.
3. Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of their original content but grant Coiena a licence to host and distribute that content on the platform. Users must not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks.
Copyright holders may submit DMCA takedown notices to copyright@coiena.com. We comply with the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and the EU Copyright Directive.
4. Harassment and Abuse
Harassment, including targeted attacks, stalking, doxing, or coordinated abuse campaigns, is prohibited. We define harassment as behaviour intended to intimidate, threaten, or cause distress to another user.
Violations of our harassment policy result in immediate action, including account suspension or termination. In severe cases, we may cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
5. Platform Integrity
Users must not attempt to manipulate platform systems, exploit bugs, or interfere with other users' ability to use the service. Prohibited activities include:
- Using bots or automated systems to inflate metrics
- Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions
- Attempting to breach platform security
- Distributing malware or phishing attempts
- Sharing account credentials or selling accounts
6. Enforcement
Violations are investigated by our moderation team. Enforcement actions are determined based on severity, user history, and context. Actions may include:
- Warnings: For minor or first-time violations
- Content Removal: Violating content is removed immediately
- Temporary Suspension: Account access restricted for a specified period
- Permanent Ban: For severe violations or repeated offences
Appeals may be submitted to appeals@coiena.com. Decisions are reviewed within 14 business days.
Legal Compliance
These guidelines are enforced in accordance with UK law, including the Online Safety Act 2023. Coiena Ltd. cooperates with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies as required by law. Content that violates UK criminal law will be removed and may be reported to relevant authorities.
